For nearly 30 years, former Edmonds resident John Hurley has continually played a part in the life of his iconic yet battered orca sculpture at Brackett's Landing. At 95 years old, he's still at it. The sculpture was removed in early September after beach walkers discovered the dorsal fin had been damaged.
